Why Become a Guardian ad Litem?

Our guardians come from all ages and stages – single, married, working, retired, young and old. What they share in common is a desire to make a difference in the lives of children going through difficult circumstances. Each guardian can make their own determination about how many cases they want to work on at one time. Every guardian is supported by a staff supervisor of the Greenville County Guardian ad Litem Program, and guardians participate in a thorough training session prior to beginning to serve.
